Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany. The Pilates method seeks to increase the strength, flexibility and control of the body. Pilates offers plenty of benefits to your body, no matter your fitness background. Through gentle movement, you’ll improve your posture, focus on bodily alignment and strengthen your core. Each week there is a different focus using various equipment such as fit balls, elastic bands and light hand weights. Gently pilates exercises for older adults is currently held on Friday’s 8.30am to 9.30am
